Church of Scientology Nashville Volunteer Ministers Mobilize to Aid Flood-Affected Communities in Tennessee
Nashville, Tennessee, 1st March 2025, ZEX PR WIRE, In response to the devastating floods that struck Rives and Clarksville, Tennessee, on February 14, 2025, the Church of Scientology Nashville Volunteer Ministers are launching a comprehensive relief effort to support affected residents.
The severe weather led to significant flooding in both communities. In Rives, a levee failure during heavy rains on February 14 and 15 inundated the town, prompting a state of emergency and the evacuation of the majority of its 250 residents.
Clarksville experienced near-historic rainfall, resulting in the Cumberland River rising above flood stage and impacting numerous homes and businesses.
Drawing upon their extensive experience in disaster response, the Nashville Volunteer Ministers have coordinated teams to assist in relief operations. Their efforts include: debris removal and cleaning, distribution of donated supplies, and emotional and spiritual support. The Volunteer Ministers’ commitment to disaster relief is longstanding. In 2022, they assisted victims of flooding in Kentucky, and in 2010, they mobilized nationwide support during Nashville’s own flood crisis.
“Our mission is to provide effective help to those in need,” said a spokesperson for the Church of Scientology Nashville. “In times of disaster, we are dedicated to supporting our communities through immediate relief efforts and ongoing assistance.”
Residents in need of assistance or those wishing to contribute to the relief efforts are encouraged to contact the Church of Scientology Nashville directly.
