The Royal Malaysian Police’s Forensic Laboratory achieved a milestone in forensic document examination with the recent “Forenscope DocEx MSC Tablet Training Course” held on January 30 and 31, 2024. This exclusive course, organized for a select group of 10 members from the Forensic Document Department, aimed to familiarize participants with the groundbreaking capabilities of the Forenscope DocEx MSC Tablet.

At the heart of this technological leap is the Forenscope DocEx MSC Tablet, an innovative device equipped with a high-resolution camera featuring a CMOS sensor and UV-VIS-IR Multispectral imaging technology. What sets the Forenscope DocEx MSC Tablet apart is its versatility in illumination, with 39 different positions, including top, spot oblique, and back. This feature ensures a meticulous examination, leaving no room for hidden findings to be overlooked. The tablet’s ability to provide 16.7 million different wavelength color combinations further enhances its imaging technology, enabling swift and efficient document analysis.

One of the key advantages of the Forenscope DocEx MSC Tablet is its lightweight and portable design, facilitating on-site examinations with ease. This portability not only streamlines the examination process but also empowers forensic experts to analyze evidence in dynamic and responsive environments.
